Ethernet to the Cloud - Leased Lines - Point to Point - MPLS NetworksAs the cost of private Ethernet circuits and Ethernet to the Cloud connections (previously known as leased lines) comes down, it becomes more practical to use such wideband services for new applications such as replacing multiple analogue telephone lines or ISDN30 equipment, using high quality video conferencing facilities, and online collaboration. In addition, expansion of existing WAN service to address bandwidth demand for traditional uses such as linking remote offices and transferring very large files, is more affordable. SIP over Ethernet Ethernet now presents a real alternative to multiple ISDN30 circuits. Using an Ethernet to the Cloud connection in conjunction with our unlimited SIP licence is considerably lower in cost than maintaining comparable services via an ISDN30 solution. Circuit bandwidth speeds range from 1Mbit/s to 1gbit/s, and there’s a choice of access speeds, from 2Mbit/s (via copper) right up to a planned 10gbit/s. Network Flexibility A ‘Pay as you grow’ option makes Wideband Ethernet services future proof. You can install the capacity you will need for the future, but only pay for what is needed now. Easy network expansion accommodates business growth requirements. High availability, reliability and resilience can be achieved using combinations of Ethernet to the Cloud, point to point, and point to multipoint solutions. MPLS Networks Create secure IP based wide area networks to serve distributed business locations and functions. Connect sites with different bandwidth requirements to form one scalable network. Implement MPLS for secure private networks. VoIP, mission-critical data, and standard traffic can all be prioritised as required. The service offers:
