Excess Construction Charges (ECCs) cover the additional costs where additional infrastructure or bespoke work is required to:
• Provide new or extended installation at a customer’s site where the suppliers would otherwise choose not to extend their network. (based on normal commercial criteria)
Unfortunately, until the ECCs are accepted the order cannot progress. Consequently, this could result in a delay to your estimated contractual delivery date. Early acceptance is advised to minimise the delay as much as possible. If any ECCs are applicable, order will automatically be placed on suspension within 24 hours of issuing the ECCs. The days covered during this period will not be counted as part of the expected service delivery time frame. The order will be cancelled if there is a failure to accept ECC’s within 30 days of the charges being notified. We will chase for ECC acceptance every 5 working days.
